Collaboration with Yazaki North America

As a member of TSP2's Innovation Demonstrations group, NEXCO and partner company Yazaki North America performed NDE scanning on over ten busy highway bridges in the Minneapolis area. NEXCO operated visual, infrared, and ground-penetrating radar systems to collect data and analyze the condition of the deck slabs. Ongoing research featuring these bridges aims to shed light on effective practices for condition inspection and maintenance planning.

Under this collaboration, Yazaki supports NEXCO’s efforts to enhance road and bridge maintenance through the application of innovative technologies.
